Verona String Quartet with Steven Banks

  • Howland Cultural Center 477 Main Street Beacon, NY, 12508 United States (map)

Howland Chamber Circle Presents Verona String Quartet with Steven Banks, Saxophone.

The Verona Quartet is an “outstanding ensemble…cohesive yet full of temperament” (The New York Times). “Steven Banks — the saxophone’s best friend, fiercest advocate and primary virtuoso in the classical realm. Banks’s mastery is merely his starting point, his artistry springs from the ease and visible delight he takes in moving between modes” (The Washington Post).

The concert is followed by a meet-the-artists reception and is generously sponsored by Michael McGarvey
