A unique literary event featuring local and regional authors, local veterans, and a former member of the Obama administration presenting classics and original writing about conflict, war, and an often-elusive peace and its impact on us all, civilian and soldier alike: the societal and personal viewed through the lens of literature written for us all. A reception afterwards will offer opportunities for questions and informal exchanges between different worlds, through which we may glimpse the surprising….and maybe the familiar too.
