A fine art exhibition opening at the Howland Cultural Center. The Howland Cultural Center (HCC) and the Bannerman Castle Trust host their Second Annual Collaborative Hudson Valley Landscape Fine Art Show “Bannerman Island and the Mighty Hudson River Exhibition”, on view at the HCC from January 10 – April 12, 2026.
The exhibition opens on Saturday, January 10th with a free opening reception for the artists and public from 1:00 – 3:00pm. The show features unique fine art paintings, watercolors, prints, photography and mixed media works in a variety of genres - from traditional and representational works to abstract masterpieces.
A variety of artists will be featured in this diverse show and most of the artwork is for sale. Visitors can expect to see picturesque Hudson River Valley views from the lower to upper Hudson Valley, mainly focusing on the Hudson Highlands region and Bannerman Island and Castle - the Iconic historic site located in the Hudson River between Beacon and Cold Spring, and a favorite location for artists and adventurers.
Includes food, refreshments and surprise musical guests. Gallery hours for the duration of the show will be Saturdays & Sundays from 1:00-5:00pm and weekdays by chance and appointment.
