Hit House Creative presents a new work by Jeannie Zusy. This autobiographical piece is also performed by Zusy. Evolving out of her residency with NYC’s The Barrow Group, Jeannie’s play, directed by The Barrow’s Co-Artistic Director, Lee Brock, will premiere in NYC on November 2nd before traveling to Beacon for this performance.

Zusy created Turkish Delight as an artist in residency at The Barrow Group. Her novel, The Frederick Sisters Are Living The Drea, published by Simon & Schuster/Atria Books, was called a powerful debut by Publishers Weekly and chosen as the Best Book of the Year by Real Simple magazine. She is currently adapting it for the screen with Oscar-winning director Eric Simonson. Her plays, essays, and poems have been published in McSweeney’s, Today, Purple Clover, and the Best Plays by Women collection, Smith & Kraus. Tickets in link below.
