From the iconic Bram Stoker novel, this script, written for the original Broadway production (1927), and revised in 1979 starring Frank Langella, has become Theater on the Road’s flagship production, with sold-out performances and extended runs each year since 2022 at both Bannerman Island & The Widow Jane Mine (Rosendale).

Lucy, the beautiful young daughter of Doctor Seward, the head physician at an English sanatorium, has been attacked by a mysterious illness. Professor Van Helsing believes Lucy is the victim of a vampire — a certain Count Dracula. Renfield, an inmate, suffers from manic delusions and is under the spell of the Count. Will Dracula be found, Lucy healed and this demon finally laid to rest?
