The Beacon Farmers’ Market (BFM) hosts its 10th annual SOUP4GREENS fundraiser.
BFM aims to raise $10,000 for food access programs at the market, helping ensure that fresh, local food remains within reach for the community.
Of that goal, $8,000 is expected from soup and bowl sales on event day, with an additional $2,000 being raised in the two weeks leading up to the event.
For ten years, the event has brought neighbors together over donated soups and handmade ceramic bowls, with all proceeds supporting GREENS4GREENS, the market’s internal food access initiative. Through GREENS4GREENS, food benefits are matched—stretching budgets and supporting local farms at the same time. The SOUP4GREENS fundraiser will feature a wide range of soups—vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free—donated by local chefs and BFM vendors. Guests can enjoy soup on-site or take home quarts for later. Handmade ceramic bowls, created by Hudson Valley artists, will also be available for purchase, along with baked goods, BFM merchandise, and bundled offerings that carry the experience beyond the bowl.
With live music and a vibrant market atmosphere, the event remains one of Beacon’s most anticipated community gatherings—grounded in care, connection, and shared purpose. See link below for more information.
